About Us

I live in Madison, Alabama, USA with Eric, my husband of 12 years,

Henry, my 2 year old human son, and Hippolyta, my 9 year old Siberian husky. I hold a Bachelor's in Environmental Design with a minor

in sustainability and graphic design. In the past, I've been a department manager, graphic designer, and veterinary technician!

I'm an avid explorer (both of natural landscapes and urban ones),

gamer (both board and computer games), photographer, and reader!

 

New Moon Thicket is the culmination of my love for florals and

the desire to stay at home with Henry rather than returning to my day job and putting him in daycare. It took many months and various business ideas before deciding on floristry. Despite skepticism from others,

I've persevered and plunged into a truly lovely industry and have come out flourishing. Now, I lead a life I love and cherish as a wife, mother,

and business owner.
